In the Premier League, Manchester United and Arsenal agreed to a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.
Both goals came against the flow of play, with Bruno Fernandes giving the home team the lead with a spectacular free kick just before halftime and Declan Rice tying the score in the 74th minute.
United had only one other chance in the first half before Fernandes’ goal. In the second half, though, the home team significantly improved and forced David Raya to make a number of excellent saves.
Additionally, Rice scored a strong goal off the post to earn a share of the points just as it appeared that Arsenal’s feeble frontline would not equalize.
