In the current FIFA Club World Cup 2025, Manchester City and Real Madrid secured their spots in the Round of 16 with dominant performances in their last group matches.
In an exciting match, Manchester City defeated Juventus 5–2 in Orlando’s Exploria Stadium to end the group stage on a high note. Jeremy Doku gave City the ahead early on, but an uncommon error by goalie Éderson allowed Juventus to equalize through Teun Koopmeiners.
But City swiftly regained control as goals from Phil Foden and Savinho, an own goal from Pierre Kalulu, and Erling Haaland’s historic 300th career goal clinched the victory.
With three victories out of three, the English team won Group G and advanced to the knockout stage to play Al-Hilal. Juventus advanced despite the loss and will now play Real Madrid.

The first goal was scored by Vinícius Jr., who then provided Federico Valverde with a deft backheel assist for the second goal. Gonzalo García, a young player, sealed the victory with a late third.
