The final group D match was held in  Philadelphia, USA and Orlando, USA.  Chelsea booked their place in the Round of 16 with a convincing 3–0 victory over Tunisia’s Esperance de Tunis while  Flamengo secured top spot in Group D after a 1–1 draw with eliminated LAFC and Benfica top their group with a narrow win against Bayern.

It was Tosin Adarabioyo  who broke the deadlock with a stoppage-time header before half-time, followed shortly by Liam Delap scoring his first Chelsea goal to double the lead.

Tyrique George sealed the result late on, despite fielding a rotated squad, manager Enzo Maresca rested key stars, the Blues managed firm control and finished second in the group with 6 points, trailing Flamengo.

LAFC took a surprise 84th-minute lead through  Denis Bouanga, their first goal in the tournament, Wallace Yan quickly equalized for Flamengo, preserving their unbeaten record. Coach Filipe Luis utilized seven changes to manage player fatigue ahead of their clash with Bayern Munich.

Bayern coach Vincent Kompany heavily rotated  his lineup, citing heat concerns and fixture congestion, substitute stars like Joshua Kimmich, Michael Olise, and Harry Kane injected energy in the second half, but were unable to find an equalizer.
