The former coach of the Super Eagles, Christian Chukwu, reportedly died at the age of 74.
Chukwu, a former player for the Super Eagles, reportedly passed away early on Saturday, April 12, 2025, between 9 and 10 a.m.
Emmanuel Okala, who also played for the Nigerian national team, told Segun Odegbami, another former Super Eagles player, about the news.
At the time this report was filed, neither family nor associates had released a statement, and the circumstances surrounding his death were unknown.
Chukwu denied death rumors while celebrating his 70th birthday on January 4, 2021.
